Add stablecoin payments to your counter.

The 9x POS terminal shows customers what to pay and ties each stablecoin payment to its store order. Your staff know how to start a payment, confirm the result and find the record again when they need it.

A stablecoin POS for cafés, restaurants, stalls and shops

Every face-to-face business rings up sales its own way, but the payment follows the same steps: create the order, the customer pays, staff confirm the result. The right device and setup depend on how many sales you take, the network on site and how your staff work.

  • Cafés and coffee shops

Small, quick orders. Staff create the order at the till, the customer pays, and the order is handed over once the payment is confirmed.

  • Restaurants and lunch counters

Coupons you've issued apply by their rules when the customer pays, so a discount doesn't add a step at a busy counter.

  • Market stalls and events

Taking payments on site still needs a network connection, so check how your stall will connect before the event.

  • Retail shops

Each payment is tied to its store order, so staff can find the sale again for returns, questions and reconciliation.

If your customers want to pay with stablecoins, a live demo is the best way to judge whether this way of getting paid suits your store.

How a payment works at the counter

  1. Create the order

Your staff check the amount and create the matching payment order. The price of the goods and the asset the customer actually pays should both be clearly shown.

  2. The customer pays

Depending on your setup, the customer taps or scans to start paying, then confirms in their own payment app where needed.

  3. Check the result

The merchant side updates the status from the actual transaction and the confirmation rules. Staff carry on with the order once there's a valid payment result.

  4. Keep the record

Order and payment details are kept for later lookups, checking problems and reconciling your books.

Your staff need a clear next step.

While waiting for the customer, check the amount and payment details. If a payment has been detected but isn't confirmed yet, keep watching the status. If something goes wrong, look up the order record to find out why.

“Sent” in the customer's wallet and “Payment confirmed” on the merchant side can be different stages. At the till, go by the merchant service's valid confirmation.

Choose the POS terminal and setup that suit your store.

Before you start, confirm the device model, how it connects, where it goes, and whether you need printing, sound alerts or a portable device. Features depend on the devices and versions actually provided.

Taking payments in store still needs a network connection to create, look up and confirm payments. If a device loses its connection, follow the recovery and checking steps.
